Mark Ferlan, DO
Dr. Mark Ferlan grew up in a medical family where he developed an early appreciation for the importance of the patient-physician relationship. Inspired by the example set in his own home, he pursued a career in Internal Medicine to build meaningful, long-term partnerships with his patients and care for them as individuals — not simply as diagnoses. Dr. Ferlan received a Bachelor of Art degree in History from St. Vincent College. He received his medical degree from P.C.O.M and completed his residency training at Kettering Medical Center. He has worked as a board certified internal medicine physician for more than a decade.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ferlan has remained committed to comprehensive, compassionate primary care. He values the time spent listening to his patients, understanding their goals, and helping them develop thoughtful strategies to support their health and wellness journey. He believes strongly that when patients understand the fundamentals of their health conditions, they are better equipped to participate in shared decision-making and achieve improved outcomes.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ferlan enjoys spending time with his family and staying active. He is guided by a philosophy passed down from his father: “The art of medicine is caring for the patient.”
